Why Miseni Retreat?

Miseni Retreat is in the Gongo forest south-west of the Saadani National Park, on the coastal area of Tanzania. It offers essential and eco-friendly accommodation at the outskirts of the only coastal National Park in Eastern Africa neighbouring the pristine Zaraninge forest. Our aim is to assist the economic development of the local communities and to promote the preservation of the pristine Zaraninge and Gongo forests. Miseni Retreat is intended to support SANA -Saving Africa's Nature projects, our non profit organisation that works for the welfare of the communities around Saadani and for the conservation of their environment.
